EWJ2 on the PS1/Saturn is the most technically advanced version of the game, but some people like the gritty sound of the Genesis soundtrack and had the CD-audio in the fifth gen versions.

EJ1 and 2 were amazing, as well as the cartoon, so was neverhood. I even donated a good portion to the armikrog game. I don't agree with his personal views, but he is one man, EJ had more than one man's hand involved, and none of his opinions/philosophical views make it into his work (other than lawyers apparently go to hell)
