I didn't say Warcraft bad. I said C&C was the one that made the whole genre what it is.

We had both W2 and C&C when they were both new on the market and we enjoyed both on their own merits.

I've liked both companies' games, but always felt like Blizzard's games were more of the autistic, no fun allowed type.
Like, Starcraft didn't even care that a tank could fire through a cliff or buildings, while you could flip vehicles over with explosion force alone in RA2.

Well they kinda did. You have a 50% chance to miss any shots from low ground->high ground, you also have a chance to miss when firing on an enemy under trees.

Herzog Zwei is a good game, but it doesn't really contain the fundamentals of modern RTS, which C&C and WC do.

You can't build bases, only cap ones on the base. You can directly control units. It's also a top down shooter.

It's more of an early MOBA than anything. If only Airmech became more popular.
