Castle-fucking-vania. It was a campy romp of Universal and Hammer cliches. Then Dracula X happened, and it turned into a shitty shonen. SotN made it into a kiddie vampire drama, and then they merged both stupid things in Aria.

Rewatching Animaniacs on the HUB has made me realize that I really don't like the Warners now that I'm older. Their jokes consist almost entirely of (outdated) pop culture references while antagonizing people, a surprising number of whom don't even really deserve it.

On the other hand, Pinky & The Brain are still pretty solid, I get a lot of older gags that flew over my head while I was younger, I have a lot more appreciation for Rita's singing, and Slappy's snide little remarks make me bust a gut laughing.

Slappy is now my favorite.
