Fantasy Zone 2 has shops, free-roaming exploration, an alignment system, and a "dark world" that Zelda later plagiarized. It could be fairly described as Shin Megami Tensei crossed with Link to the Past, only far superior in all aspects.

flying ship memorizers all play the same so just pick one that has the best aesthetics and weapons you like (don't worry about the music because after grinding so much you'll hate it, find a good jpop playlist on youtube asap)

Hahaha I can't imagine there are many sexually active players on this. Fucking great game though, I've got to the 4th sector so far but the womb of grief has sucked me in (and I'm not talking about the missus and her vacuum)
