She's literally Japanese.

They're made up characters, and they follow a formula somewhat from Nomura's hit designs. There was no race obsession or 'German eyes and Italian nose' on the original character sketches, they were anime characters and only characters like Barret were purposefully made with a race in mind but even then he has anime features and when Nomura draws him more 'realistically' he still has Japanese features, just like Solid Snake comes off with Japanese features if you look closely, etc... Because the designers are Japanese. There was no 'chinkification' of anything as they are Japanese. The weird negativity and racial media whore views you people put on children's games is just sad. I don't mean to be negative or holier than thou, but take a look at the shit you're saying. It's not real life, it's made up fantasy shit.

Bumping for the very attractive face rendered there. It is a bit strange seeing stray hairs clip, appearing to pierce through skin/flesh, so make sure to photoshop that out. I think of all those characters as different given their stories/backgrounds/personalities. The designs are varied enough too for me in the games. It just depends upon the artist and styles employed. For the longest, I thought FF7 was originally designed by Amano, but they needed Nomura to touch them up with a design that can translate to the polygonal capabilities of the console hardware of the time.
