Yep.

Neat premise and setting, and Jim's voice is funny, but that's it. Jim isn't known for good gameplay though, he's known for just having a lot of variety in his games, and they just made a bad Banjo Kazooie.

If you want to play the real 3D earthwormjim, this is it.

It was made by the same people, retaining the same sense of humor and shooting/platforming gameplay well translated into 3D. It even has similar minigame segments like andy asteroids.

Yeah the ps2 one (mdk2) had a really fucked up default control layout I remember, not even sure if it was to troll honestly... But yeah one can change it in options. Been awhile since I played it, I think I got halfway through it, I don't want to ruin spoilers but the different characters was fun too, but yeah I will try the first one also.

I beat the first one and played the 2nd... I prefer EW Jim 1 myself, but I have to say in the second one the old ladies that hit you with their purse as you go down the stair lift was pretty hilarious

As someone once said, it's just a peppy girl in a pixie cut singing a cover of a song about Vietnam war, within a game about a Human Gun, joyfully genociding aliens with his four armed dog, with a video depicting rage, murder and PTSD. Also everything is literally swimming in acid.
