I was born in 97 but I grew up playing this bad boy, which I'm very thankful for. At the time I was jealous of my friends who had Sega Genesis, PS1, even PS2. Also I played a lot on pc. Later on I got a Wii and a DSiXL and through the years I started collecting a little bit more (though I've sold most of it cause I'm a poor third world neet).

Every eastern european kid grow up with these.

We had one of these here in the US in the 2000s. It has sprite-hacked versions of City Connection, Bump 'n Jump, Mach Rider, F1 Race, Burning Rubber 3 and Road Fighter. I played everything with the dpad in the middle. It sucked ass, but the city connection ripoff was fun.

i had a weird ass, psx looking famiclone which was green and transparent, called funstation i think? and it had built in mario, duck hunt, circus charlie and a bunch of other games i can't even remember

In Poland it was called "Pegasus"

Unluckily I never had the games like Zelda or Megaman, but asides from that I had all the others ones, including bad games like Milon's Secret Castle.

I'm not that anon, but in my region, Mega Man games were rare as fuck. I only played 3 on my Famiclone, someone brought it to me in early 2000's. I only watched Ruby-Spears cartoon before that, so I had no idea it was based on a huge game franchise and thought the game was based on a cartoon.

I grew up with NES but ever since I dipped into Famicom I've gotten way into bootlegs. The whole world of HK originals and hacks is amazing.

Nintendo never had an official presence in South Africa, but the Famiclone was massive in the early 80's and just about everyone here had one. Really miss them, especially the janky number-in-one carts you used to find everywhere that had crazy obscure fake titles and 8-bit demakes of popular games from other consoles.

Yeah I had one, used to play Balloon Fight with my dad all the time but sadly the system broke down after a few months (I got a Mega Drive afterwards). My cousin had one too, his was based off the NA toploader model and had a ton of games built in, we used to play Chip and Dale 2 on it.

I think it was orange instead of dark grey. Came in with the 999999 in 1 cartridge as well, it had SMB, Circus, Battletanks and some other shit I don't recall because I've not played it that often.

Depends on your definition of clone, which depends on your level of autism. There are PS1 clones but they use software emulation. Many children who believe they make the rules will tell you that means they're not ackchyually clones.

I try to focus on getting HK original games/ports or hacks but when I'm getting a bootleg of something prohibitively expensive just to have a physical copy I try to get something that has a ridiculous or absurd label.
