Alright, so I bought Link's Awakening DX on game boy color and it just came in today. I was playing for about 10 minutes when suddenly the game freezes as I'm pushing a sea urchin with my shield. I restart the game boy color and it shows the words Game Boy and the word Nintendo is all messed up. I turn it off again and reinsert the game. It's working now but is this something I should be worried about? The contacts look clean and he said it was cleaned as well as a new battery being installed.

It's probably fine, but I'm no vidya game doctor. If it keeps happening maybe google some way to clean a cartridge.

the cart could have burnt out if the words in nintendo are messed up even after cleaning then shes a goner

Rubbing alcohol and a qtip. Dry immediately. Repeat until a minimal amount of grime comes off.

If the cart was misaligned when you put it in and bumped that could happen but i doubt that was it unless you are playing on an advanced not some earlier GB.
