Tbh arcade is a pain in the ass because they each need their own BIOS and dat, some games have parent files, and they are constantly updating the emulators and old games will break. It's also hard to find individual games. It's just massive 50 gb files with shortened names.

I mean, it's your collection, do whatever you want but to me it seems like a massive compromise to have things like GnG NES, a port so shitty that motivated Capcom to develop their home ports in house from then on, or Final Fight SNES, that removed the multiplayer and couldn't have more than 3 enemies on-screen. And of course, this is not even touching the notorious graphical downgrades

This torrent is a working MAME 2003 plus romset.

It's set up for a hacked Nintendo switch, but if you go into the roms folder, they'll work with MAME 2003 plys on any device. That version of MAME is the best version for phones and raspberry pi and all that shit. It's just fine for pc too.

You can't rename mame zip files, you have to leave them. So what you do is you find out the abbreviation for the games you want, then just download those.

Is you use retroarch and scan the folder, it will know their names and their full names will appear in the Playlist.
