also, you posted the most overrated mission in the series. it's horribly linear (the demo version was more open ended with an alternate route leading to angelwatch, but for some retarded reason, it was removed in the final game), and the fog makes it look like shit. also, the architecture is extremely uninspired with the exception of the tower.

It's not about whether or not it's an rpg, fps or stealth game. Immersive simulation is a specific design/programming concept. Somewhere along the way it turned into the name of the entire fucking genre which is retarded, since people assume you're talking about Euro Truck Simulator or some shit and then look at you funny when you say, "No, I mean like Thief and Deus Ex." But they are completely comparable. And the answer's Thief.

They are all describing the dangers of unregulated capitalism, storywise, but they don't really compare that well beyond that.

If I had to rank them in the order of kost played, I would put them in the order of: Deus Ex, Theif II, Cybershock 2. Mainly because I found the replay value of cybershock 2 to be not that great. I still really enjoyed it though.
