It's bullshit. I basically have given up entirely on ever playing psx or psx 2 games

Anyone who says that there hasn't been a massive drop in the quality of anime needs to watch Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust. It's absolutely fucking gorgeous both artistically and in how incredibly smooth the animation is. No modern anime holds a candle to it.

I've been playing retro games before, I was looking up a thread here about Resident Evil clones and saw Vampire Hunter D. The idea of playing a hack 'n' slash with tank controls really made me curious, so I went ahead to play it, got good at it and ended up enjoying it a lot. When you get used to the game's mechanics it's pretty neat.

Emulate idiot. If you're aspergers physically won't allow you to play it on anything but the original console just install an easy 6 wire modchip in a PS1 and burn it. Or just do the swap trick.

There's legitimately zero reason to own these things in 2021. If you like wasting your money that's fine, but don't deny yourself enjoyment because of 'original experience'

UN Squadron. I bought it because of a thread where an anon was constantly recommending it. It is the most soulful shooter I have ever played. It took quite a big deal of effort to beat it, which made the end even more enjoyable.
