I'm a fan and I praise the level design. the very first level throws everything at you with RNG enemies, floating coffins, moving ground, traps and exploding plants, clams that spit pearls at you while platforming... it's a crazy first stage lol

Super GnG's level design is excellently themed, varied, and laid out. Same goes for its enemies. The committed double jump is not only unique but it also feels great, especially with the perfect accompanying metallic rattling armor sound. And its well-tuned difficulty is not only noteworthy, but also deserving of praise in a time when games were just starting to lose their challenge

It's easily one of the best games of the generation and best of all time in its genre

sounds like second to last level of the 1st loop. if you have gold armor & dagger a well placed super charge will take care of them, otherwise there's a little damage-boost skip you can do to get past them without fighting
