What do you guys use to play your games besides the dogshit piece of junk pic related. Playing games in VC forces you to use a "classic controller".

About savestates, you probably don't play shmups. Say you're suffering with stage 4 dodonpachi. Are you going to play the entire game again just to try and figure a pattern out at the end of stage 4? No, you load your savestate for that stage as a training mode, then you move on to try and 1cc it when you're ready.

I've kind of been toying with the idea of trying to frankenstein a snes and gamecube controller together to basically just make a snes controller that's recognized as a gamecube controller. Like wire all the button contacts from the snes to the contacts of a GC controller's pcb and cram it all into the SNES controller'scase.

It won't be an easy option but I want to do it if I ever happen to get a pair of GC and SNES controllers that aren't usable on their own.

Why? Did you lose a bet and have to do something embarrassingly retarded as payment? You can just replace the SNES cable with a GC one and swap the IC for an MCU. Worst case you need to make an adapter or use some thin wire, depending on your cringe level. If you absolutely insist on using the GC IC you can use that instead, but the it's actually more complicated hardware wise.
