I've used the net link this year. You sit are wrong. I have net link matches from last year on my yt page. It will work as long as analog phone lines exist. Or you can use a phone line simulator to make a LAN match of sorts.

>> No.802286

>>802265
You more than likely don't have an analog phone line. Do you have a land line? Is it through your cable provider? If it's digital it will not work...the match will lag out if it even connects.

The Netlink is P2P. One Saturn dials the second Saturn. Long distance rates apply but is other wise free. So as long as you have a compatible phone line it will work forever. There's a site dedicated to Netlink. There's about 5 somewhat active users. I'm one of the more active users and have two or three people I play with from time to time.

Saturn Bomberman Netlink match recorded about a year ago.

Actually he can't since there's been two occasions where he's tried to sell it and no one wanted to pay when he was asking. Ergo, he can't ask for whatever the hell he wants since no one will pay for it.

It's like saying that since I own this computer I'm typing on, I can ask a million dollars for it. I -can- ask $1 mil for it, but I'll never get it. That means I can't sell it for what I want. Get it?

Oh no, he tried a total of TWO times on one website!

I have trouble selling things in the hundreds on Ebay sometimes, so I can imagine how something with twice the digits would do.

The only thing required for getting what you want is time and patience.

Plus, the guy could very easily be testing the waters. Seeing where the bids go, likely putting it elsewhere to see the kind of numbers people are offering.
Hell, if it were me I'd do the same for 2-3 months, get what I feel is a good compromise between what people are offering and what I want closer to what I want at first and keep pushing it for a few months, only lowering the price after the 5 or 6 month mark.

It would also depend on his financial situation. If he desperately needed dosh, he would have sold it by now. He hasn't, so I can only assume he doesn't REALLY need the money, so he's free to get as much as possible for it.

People there have finally come in to the 2000s since then so there's not Kid Vid or Noid stuff still around anymore, but damn things there are just.. outdated by years. They're probably where modern cities were in 2006. I mean, people there still commonly use MySpace instead of Facebook, and smartphones are JUST starting to make an appearance on a very infrequent basis. We still even had WCW merchandise in stock as late as 2010, almost a full decade after WCW folded.

Whenever I was growing up, people rarely had beyond NES when N64 was still huge. People looked at me like I was alien whenever I talked about vidya. Most of my peers had never even played a Mario game. The period in the early-90s where things were still like the 80s? That lasted there until about 2002.

That's like saying there aren't any anywhere. No one visits Helsinki except for time-travelers.
Finns and Estonians with their 22 tenses and moods only have so many because they travel through time and merely needed the grammar to describe something that was about to happen in the past before time-jumping forward two days in order to avoid it.
I tried to learn Finnish, but I only got as far as the Future Semi-Conditionally Modified Subinverted Plagal Past Subjunctive Intentional before giving up and moving on to a more useful language.

Sure, it exists in Helsinki, but we're not all pantemporal beings like the Finns and Estonians. The rest of us only exist at one point in time. The question isn't that the museum is in Helsinki or not but /when/ it exists.
Why does your language have so many tenses and moods? Either something happened in the past, is happening now or will happen in the future. You don't need more than three tenses, for fuck's sake! I mean... unless you're pantemporal beings who time jump from one point in the temporal cloth to another. Which you are. Cuz you're a Finn. Bunch of weirdos, the lot of you.

I'm a linguist by trade and training, so I like learning languages and Finnish sounds nice but is an absolute sod to learn.
