Sup /vr/

Can we have a collection thread? I always love seeing what everyone else has, and how they set it up.

Pic related. I need to get more shelves. That and I need more plastic bins for my games since I still have a lot of stuff packed away.

Anybody else collect old systems? Like 1st-3rd gen? My holy grail at the moment is probably an original Odyssey, if you couldn't tell, I like the various Odyssey consoles. I'm new to collecting the last few years, so it's nothing too extravagant.

Lets see yours!

With that many you should dedicate yourself to completing 16-player Faceball 2000. All you need is 16 GB original link cables (probably the ones that could hook from Brick to Pocket so as to get those pockets and colors in on the action) and 16 copies of Faceball 2000, plus a bunch of 4 player adapters.

That projection. What's the point of posting a collection if you don't have any rare titles? Being that the Saturn didn't have many great platforms, its exclusives that WERE good are naturally the same ones that are now RARE. Everybody starts somewhere, but please don't project on lucky bastards or people who shelled out for those games because they're missing the cheaper games, that's ass backwards logic.

As much as I hate the tyrants, I'm going to have to agree with this guy. If you want to advocate sates rights, put either a square battle flag, or the stars+bars, next to your state flag. Although the Navy did have a rectangular version with a very light blue, your version of the rectangular battle flag was never used. Alternatively you could fly the stainless, or stained flag, but too many people confuse that with various states (unless you want that to happen).

Maryland. It's open invite, as long as you're not too much of an asshole. That spot is reserved for me. Luckily we don't get too many people demanding to set up FPS. Lots of card gaming too (Dominion, Cards Against Humanity).

And there's always people in the relative area. Go on meetup sites, figure things out. A lot of creeps and a lot of good people, and some nice creepy people.

Found a guy at the retro/import with a near-complete collection of NES US releases. Gave him the info and my email, doubt he'll show. Oh well.

I don't know, meetup.com? Google some local gaming spots, put up some flyers, stuff like that. I don't advertise it too heavily, I'm pretty much at capacity as far as space for people. If it gets bigger I'll have to start renting halls.

>Google some local gaming spots
Aside from some game stores and shit, I don't know of any specific "local gaming spots"; I'd figure that would be due to the ridiculous number of colleges(keeping most of the people on campus)

Added; been playing the same.

My modest NES collection. There's only about five or so more games that I want to get, though Bubble Bobble Part 2 is a pipe dream right now.

What is that blank Sega Saturn game supposed to be? I've never seen anything like that before.

Also, your Sega console games are most impressive. You have practically every great Sega CD game ever made. Shining Force CD, Sonic CD, Ecco the Dolphin and Earthworm Jim (arguably the best versions of both of those games), Snatcher, Final Fight, Lunar, shit dude. I'm quite impressed.

Guy at a local game store back in 2010 or so had a bunch of the FF7 and 8 ones on display in the case and I asked if he had any of the 9 ones. He said he did and that he'd be willing to sell them for the right price. Think he started at $200 but we settled at $150. Wasn't sure if I made the right decision at paying that much for them back then but seeing as the Freya/Quina and Amarant/Eiko ones alone seem to go for that much I guess I made out pretty well.

I've been tempted to open them for years, though, since even though they're worth a bunch I wouldn't want to sell them anyway.

Thank you! I've always been a huge Sega fan, especially with the Genesis. Although my Dreamcast collection is next to nothing. Of note, I have Shenmue, Sonic Adventure, Garou, and PSO. I need to make room to display my Saturn stuff better, though.

The blank Saturn case is Astal, a really great platformer by Sega that nobody, including them, remembers. For some reason every copy is misprinted and has no title on the spine.

I made it the night before an anime con. Shaving cream bottle with yellow paper and a lot of clear tape. Cosplayed as Tab/Corn, which was fun because I was still into skating at the time (JGR led to a little under ten years of inline). Crashed some Air Gear shoots, managed not to get kicked out for wearing them inside (got really good at walking/not rolling in them).

The hat looks like it's supposed to be in Japanese, but even if that's the case the last letter is written incorrectly. What's it supposed to say? It looks like it's supposed to say 'ヒート' to me.

Yeah, it is. I'm pretty sure I made it backwards. It's supposed to say Corn (or the Japanese equivalent). Couldn't invite a weeabo spellchecker over at 4 in the morning on such short notice, so I copied it from character art.
