Never liked how you take damage from the environment. It would be fine if it was needed only for bonus items but the game constantly throws obligatory obstacles that you need to destroy. Other than its easily the most kino single player beat the moppets.

I prefer TMNT3 as well. More stages and fewer gimmicks. I think the Shredder fight in Turtles in Time is cool and deserves some hype but overall don't care for the time-travel stuff, and Super Shredder is a better boss on the NES.
