It is. There was a discussion about it on here weeks back well before the video came out where I promised to import and scan it for people here. Just took a while for me to start the scanning process. I posted some phone photos of pages in question between then and now though.

Here's the TOC and a quick breakdown of the book so you can see why I want this all uploaded for archival sake versus what Dr. Lava has done.
What I uploaded was complete scans of Chapter 1 and most of what was translated and talked about in the DYKG video. There's some art before Chapter 1 but that's all been scanned before and will be in the complete pdf when I'm done.
Chapter 2 is the game guide and Lava uploaded the route art to his site without any thing else on the pages. Personally, I can't stand that.
Chapter 3 is just data tables on shit like move damage and the original type chart, not particularly interesting but archival first and foremost.
Chapter 4 is about Communication features and has some very silly art but isn't super interesting.
Chapter 5 is JOURNAL and is probably a lot of lore, this needs to be translated and is almost entirely text. It appears DYKG/Lava didn't get to this part yet?
Chapter 6 is Staff Roll and it would just be nice to have clean photos of the original team and shit.

Thanks for posting anon, I've been following since your original post and eagerly awaiting the updates. I myself bought a copy and it recently arrived in excellent condition, thanks to your posts. I would say to most people it's not really worth more than 100 bucks, unless you can read Japanese or are ultra obsessed with Pokemon. Most of what scanned is already the best stuff, and the DYKgaming video has the actual content plus more thanks to their translation efforts. I'm content with my purchase as I love gen 1/2 stuff, but I can see how others would be underwhelmed. Also proud to see that 4chan is still the real source for internet info, stuff like this is what keeps me coming back after more than a decade.

Hard to really say, if you enjoy the feeling of exploring and adventure albeit to a limited degree you may find the games enjoyable. The series has great music a lot of the time and

I think even though they're outdated (although not as bad as NES era JRPG's) starting from Gen 1 and going as far as you want through each progressive game is still the best way to experience them, I think Red/Blue even have a colour mod now so you don't have to look at a B/W screen anymore.

They're only really like 20 hours each or so, with Gold probably being the longest of the bunch.
