Before Ghoma's room you can stack up on the sticks with a constantly regenerating Deku Baba, then destroy the boss the first time she's stunned. It's the only way to do it, honestly.

I was replaying ocarina of time 3d and I realize that the deku stick had its damage nerfed.
In n64 oot, it had the exact same damage values as the master sword. Basically in layman's terms, a normal slash will do two units of damage, a jump strike doubles this, doing four units.
In oot 3d, the deku stick doesnt receive the damage multiplier for jump strikes. It does two unit damage for all attacks.

You can just jump attack with the stick once and then do crouch stabs because they retain the damage of whatever your last attack was for some reason. Even if you change to the kokiri sword as long as you don't overwrite that value with another attack.
Or jump attack a wall at the correct angle to keep the stick after it breaks

God no. I really hate the bomb flower stuff until you get the bomb bag. I'd say the forest temple is actually the best one. Nice atmosphere with some fun puzzles in it and isn't overly long or overly short.
