I'm out of luck with this game, on Mega CD. Normal mode kicks my ass, while easy mode is too braindead for me. No inbetween.

The Saturn is a CD-ROM based system but these days there are plenty of ODEs that you can play off of a SD-card or USB storage solution. There's also the emulation route and you can simply just mount an ISO from your SSD.

A spinoff called "Ranma-chan no Ooeto Surogoku: Keio Yuugekitai Gaiden". I THINK it was a sports variety game, far from a Keio Flying Squadron 3, but then again the first two games changed genre pretty drastically so maybe it can be considered KFS3.

Not true, you can take however many hits as long as you're holding a weapon.

Also I prefer the sequel, reminds me of a 32-bit Rocket Knight game (where half the game is platforming while the other half is shmup).
