Recommend me PC games from before windows 98 that are still playable today.

By playable I meant fun.

I remember the skyfree one, I think red alert command and conquer PC is from W98?

But I wonder if there's anything worthwhile in windows 95 and Windows 3.1 today.

I remember the golden rubberg kind of game?

And there was one with ships on a grid of cubes where you can shoot it. (A force?)

it's not "good" but it's fun to play at least once.

The first one is better, but the sequel is still good.

this game is straight up just a fever dream. though i'd probably recommend watching a playthrough of it instead of actually playing it since it's a really obtuse point and click.

In my opinion, this is the best Leisure Suit Larry game and has aged incredibly well.

Another Obtuse point and click, but has a lot of good jokes and is worth playing since the ending is the ORIGINAL planned ending for the movie that got cut for budget concerns.

The You Don't Know Jack games are still really good. Rest of the games i'd recommend are either too obscure and weird, or bad.

the best genres imo for pre w98 are point and clicks and crpgs. anything else feels too dated and will require some nostalgia to enjoy
