I played this after Ocarina of Time and I was impressed at the fact that MML dungeons are actually conected, and it's like a huge system underground where you can enter in one place and exit at another. And also, to me the town and people feels more lively.

Eh, OoT's too obsessed with turning the dungeons into tedius "puzzle boxes" instead of a labyrinth filled with danger. MML is a better Zelda game than it is.

Based. Legends has more confined spaces and corridors that are perfect for enemy ambushes, forcing you to play more cautiously. The game is all-around kino, haters in this thread can cope and seethe.

the fact you even had to mention OoT without being prompted is indicative of how deeply it has weaved its way into your subconcious. Legends is a fine game but saying it's even remotely as good as Ocarina of Time is legit retarded.

Imagine, if you will, a world in which the ONLY Mega Man games in existence are 2D sidescrolling action-platformers, and there are like 9 of them (over a dozen if you count the Game Boy games). Now picture that classic 2D platformers like Mario and 2D action-adventure games like Zelda are getting 3D games which are also platformers and generally remain in line with series expectations, just in 3D now. In this world, you are told of a new game: A 3D Mega Man game on the PS1/N64. How do you expect it to turn out? How do you feel when you play it and there are no robot masters, little to no platforming, and everything generally feels completely different from anything you've come to expect out of Mega Man games for the past 9+ iterations? It's easy to look back on Mega Man Legends from today's perspective where we have multiple spin-off series like Legends, Battle Network, and Star Force, but back then it was all in a different context and it's really no surprise that Legends disappointed some people who wanted a Mega Man game rather than a Zelda game.

You actually bring up extremely good points anon.
As I played MML I grew to love it for what it was.
PS1 user usually did not own a N64 and do not have that reference.. MML has great graphics and comfy music. Most importantly, it has the best 3D controls on the PS1.
OG Armored Core would have benefited immensely from a similar control scheme.
Mega Man Legends might be the best game of that generation. The final boss was difficult, yet fair and forced you to use the game mechanics.
