Would Mischief Maker's be successful if it were to be remade for the 3DS? Your opinions?

Sure, I'd buy it. Anytime this is brought up people get hung up on where the buttons will be mapped to. How would we fix that issue?

I'd love some kind of HD remake. Not in the same manner they remade Gunstar Heroes, just some higher quality graphics really.

I'd sincerely hope they keep Marina more or less looking like she does though. I don't like their recent fascination with more stereotypical animu.

well the joystick can be the directional jets while double tapping the d-pad will be the running jets. and A will be jump and B will be to grab. the L and R buttons will be the action and speaking buttons.I sapose Y and X can be grab and jump too. What more do you need.

you didn't specify shit, that's the problem.

Maybe you should have said "please don't remake the character using modern standards because I hate new stuff and that's why I post on /vr/" and that conveys your point perfectly. Because she's pretty damn anime already.

probably not, but they did at least have a recognizable art style which is more than you can say about a lot of modern anime

You're not going to change the way anyone thinks acting like this and even if you were more subtle about it people still wouldn't give two shits.

Okay, so you hate the way they draw. Big deal, move along. I know you're going to tell me that you never said you hate it but I know that when people dislike something, they often complain near the people who enjoy it. That's so stupid.

Go troll an Adventure Time thread on /co/ or something

Adult Human Marina is not even consistent with the other art on the same game. Compare it to >>778567 and even >>778535 or any of the gunstar images posted in this thread.
It's just crappy, man. You probably won't see anything like that from Treasure ever again.

Maybe you can build a case around ZUN art, but then again, it "wasn't a pursuit towards stylization", but an attempt to recreate existing styles and not succeeding, leading to an unusual recognizable result, like art brut, and then ZUN just sticked to it, partly because of is recognizable, but party because that's the extent of his skills as an artist.

So yeah, Adult Marina can make do with a redesign.

Agree to disagree what? I'm not shunning you for liking it. Hell, I think it's charming, and my ZUN example was mostly tounge in cheek. But calling it a deliberate attempt at stylizing is just plain wrong.

Like the other guy said, never was the "cusp of technology". Wiimote was an overglorified tilt detector. For Wii U theres also that Pro controller and hooking up classic controllers to the Wiimote. The Wiimote has a tiny d-pad, impossible to play platfomers on.
