Here's my retro battle station. Got a PS2 modded to play PS1 and PS2 backups. Then I got my Wii modded to play Atari, Colecovision, NES, SMS, SNES, Genesis, Gamecube and Wii. I have a N64 with about 25 games and a Genesis console from my childhood with about 40 games.

I don't have a very hospitable guest environment as I don't have chairs, and have hardwood floors. I prefer this, but I imagine few others do. It's preferable for sitting closer to the TV to me as well.

Any anon have a big screen and a big fat couch? I have nostalgia for my cousin's house, where they had a huge rear projection and an old, overstuffed couch. The picture was crappy, sure, but that was just part of big-screen gaming in the 90s. You were just happy that it was huge.

I like dogs, but the worst fucking gaming is with a dog that barks at everybody that comes and which crawls all over people. It's not fun to deal with your dumb animal that you didn't train and can't be asked to handle.

Mostly furniture, but sometimes I like to bring out my red game chair and sit in front on the TV for maximum comfiness.

A little too far for convenience. I have to pull the consoles out on that fold out table you see next to the desk there so the controllers will comfortably reach. Got an extension cable for my Genesis recently though, considering doing the same to the others.

Dpad and a and b buttons feel solid to me, z-button feels weird like it doesn't bottom out all the way. Sometimes I accidentally hit x and y when stressed playing a platformer.
