There allegedly where psychological studies that found that the Dare program backfired because people assume everyone was using drugs and didn't want to miss out on what everyone was doing.

DARE was my first introduction to drugs. They basically went around teaching kids how to alter their minds. I had never considered it before all the propaganda. Add in how corny it all was and how everyone knew it, and conclude they did it on purpose as a psyOP similar to how the CIA married the ghettos to crack cocaine.

I don't think it was intentional. Nor do I really believe the narrative about Coke and the ghettos being something from the Top down. How I see it is power attracts corruption and corrupt people within intuitions used there power to sell drugs. I doubt it was actually some psyop like mkultra. but forgive me for the off topic. Or is it off topic? Because OP's post is a product of the reign era "just say no" anti-drug initiative.

>How I see it is power attracts corruption
you're just missing the logical conclusion. corruption organizes and has been planning well before we were born. It's not just MKUltra, there are other projects declassified. Project ARTICHOKE in particular which studied the effects of using drugs like meth and lsd cause addiction and withdrawal combined with hypnosis as a way to take control of the addicts.
