I feel sorry for people who were actually collecting reto games before youtube came out. Now every hipster wants to play an obsecure 80s game to show off for "nostalgias" sake even after being born in 1995+ and prices soared because of it.

And if you knew anything about economics as you claim, you'd know prices also go up when people are willing to pay more for a product. Some games have always been more expensive than others, and it has nothing to do with rarity. Or youtube for that matter.
