Hidden Gem is a bad term in my opinion because a game that's hidden to someone else might considered common knowledge or cult classic to others, it all depends on what you like I guess. Someone that knows the SNES or N64 library front to back might call someone crazy for suggesting a game commonly found in those circles is a hidden gem.
Anyways, the games I suggest might not be considered "hidden gems" but here's a list of games that I would've considered hidden or didn't know too much about myself, but liked nonetheless.
>Mr. Gimmick! (NES)
>Little Samson (NES)
>Legacy of the Wizard (NES)
>Q-Boy (NES Bootleg Game)
>Terranigma (SNES)
>Marvelous Mouhitotsu no Takarajima (SNES English Patch)
>Duck Dodgers (N64)
>Alundra (PS1)
>Mole Mania (GB)
>Discworld Noir (PC)

That's what I mean. Everyone seems to know about those games but they can still be largely unknown even within some retro gaming corners or some parts of the internet. Hidden Gems don't always stay Hidden Gems as they become more well known over time, that's why I think it's an improper term. It felt fair to start off with those considering those were technically the first "niche" or "obscure" games I got exposed to. If you want to find a legitimate cartridge of those games they're not easy to come by, but now that emulation is so prevalent everyone knows about them.

And almost any game that doesn't see a worldwide release could be consider a "Hidden Gem." It's a tricky subject to talk about when games that are common to some people might be considered unknown to others.

That and a lot of the hidden gems are just good enough to be not considered complete shit. But nobody really wants to play them for very long.

God you're a retard, the dude even started off that post disarming your stupid point. Navigate your Important Reaction Memes directories and delete all the frogs, wojaks, and anti-basedboy images out of it. Just delete them. Your life won't get any worse. You don't rely on those things. You're still a person without them. Delete the dirty residue of your social illness and then try to converse with people by paying attention to the actual words they say and responding to those, not to some random triggering signals you saw while rapidly skimming.

Yeah maybe, I was more venting than anything, but I did at least learn that "s o y b o y" gets filtered into basedboy apparently, whatever that's supposed to mean. So now I know not to say that word anymore, not that that's very helpful since I'm not the kind of complete retard who normally latches onto incoherent fads like that "onions" meme in the first place.

>>7461212

HAHAHA onions. Okay there we go, more learning. I'd hope they wouldn't do that on /ck/ at least, people should be able to talk about s o y there. Seeing as it's AN ACTUAL FOOD and not ONLY a magical triggerword that tells retards Important Meme Things in their special retard code.
