An RGH'd 360 is the best general Xbox emulator out there. Cxbx and Xemu can run a few okay but are generally smelly. Check youtube/compatibility lists. Xbox One and Series are fantastic for the games they support

I mean, if their servers are closed, others multiplayer games of that generation are unplayable, too. But it's worth noting some guys are reviving the original Xbox Live. Also there is XLink Kai for some games.

If so, just play that. With a few exceptions most Xbox versions of PC games and vice-versa have pretty accurate parity with one-another, though the controls may need some work if it doesn't support DirectInput or xInput out of the box.

Emulate with Dolphin or PCSX2- ideally Dolphin. PS2 and Gamecube is much more well-developed than Xbox and you should get the same experience in most cases, as long as framerate unlock patches are in where applicable
>If Neither of the Above:
Try out CXBX-R first. It's far less compatible but the games it does work with give a good experience, thanks to fast load speeds and HD internal resolution scaling
>As A Last Resort:
If nothing above works or applies, try the game in xemu. You'll need a pretty powerful PC to get the most out of it, it's still under heavy development, and it's far from perfect, but compatibility and accuracy is way better than CXBX-R at the moment and it's your best chance of faithfully replaying an Xbox game on PC, otherwise you're shit out of luck without the original hardware or a backwards compatible console.

The Xbox is an absolute tank for emulation, even stock. Any console up to PS1/N64 work pretty much flawlessly, all handhelds to my knowledge up to GBA also work flawlessly.

Top that off with analog 720p its comparable or even better than a Raspberry Pi as it can emulate games like Killer Instinct at full speed, all while giving you access to lots of Xbox games.

The downside however, is to get the most out of it, you need to be comfortable taking it apart, of not, you're limited to a softmod and 8-10GB of hard drive space.

Do what works for you, but with enough effort, the BBC (Big Black Crate) will serve you well.
