What is your favorite terrible video game? Mine will always be Friday the 13th on NES.

I've had to endure so many bad games that I have zero fond memories, I guess if I had to pick one, it would be Adventures in Africa for the Super A'can, just because it was the only A'can cart I could locate and secure, I dumped it and you can play it in MAME. Odds are that if you have rare roms, it's me who dumped them. I don't need thanks but I am getting tired, it's been 20 years and now the last ones to dump or for insane prices. Maybe I should give up for 5 years until the bubble pops.

I used to play Ghostbusters NES in heavy rotation with the rest of my family's NES games. It's a perfectly comfy experience as long as you turn it off once you have to go to ZUUL. sometimes I'd put off ZUUL as long as possible, then reset the game and play the "business sim" part of the game all over again.

there isn't much reason to play the game today, but at the time you played the games you had and you enjoyed them

It's the rarest of the rare consoles, only released in Tiawan, cart based, 16bit, 90s, DO NOT try to collect for this thing, the carts are so rare that somebody went out and bought the fucking company because it was easier than finding the carts, that is where most of the dumps are from, from buying out the company.

gp32 was a nice handheld, however I've collected and dumped so much rare shit over the decades that I know for a fact that rare means shit, there are very very few edge cases that break this rule, the reason something becomes rare is that nobody wanted it, pippin, playdia, loopy, a'can

I like Shadow the Hedgehog a lot. I played it more than some other Sonic games at the time. It's an alright experience if you just run through the neutral storyline. Doesn't take too long to beat a run, and the over the top edginess is good for a laugh.

It's definitely better than a lot of LJN licensed junk and is kinda ambitious as an attempt at a "horror" game. The mechanics are obtuse though, the different character speeds/jump heights basically means all but two of them are useless, and if you actually know what to do, you can beat the game in 10 minutes.

A modern game like the NES's Friday the 13th would be awesome. I know there's Friday the 13th: The Game, but it's not what I have in mind. Something like Resident Evil 7, but set in Camp Crystal Lake. Jason fits better on video games than on movies IMO, and horror games are scarier than movies.

Someone please make a game like this.

My first beat em up basically and the music is really good and it's kinda fun but of course the combat system is totally fucked and it feels like there's a minimal amount of hits you are bound to take such as when you knock somebody down they seem to always hit you after getting up.
