>> No.7408345

>Iblard - Laputa no Kaeru Machi
Basically an interactive Naohisa Inoue painting with light adventure elements.
>Chou-Kousoku Grandoll and Kaisoku Tenshi
Two good sidescrolling action games.
>Intelligent Qube and Sound Qube
I.Q is pretty well known, but Sound Qube it also really good, it's about using a sonar thing to determine the material of cubes.
>Korokoro Post Nin
It is like Cameltry but with a girl. What sets it apart from the simple marble games of this kind is the interactions with the slopes, since the movement is momentum based. It reminds me of Umihara Kawase a bit.
>Zoku Gussun Oyoyo
Cool puzzle game by Irem. It is like Tetris + Lemmings (with just one character though). You need to drop tetrominoes to make a path for the character, but the fun thing is that you can also use the pieces to squash enemies.
>UFO - A Day in the Life
Basically a sequel to Moon, but you play as an alien photographer. I think it doesn't have a translation, but it should be doable to play it using a text hooker, the AI translator from RA or something like that, the writing is pretty simple.
>Tiny Bullets
Basically an anime-style clone of Tomb Raider.
>Ten Made Jack
A platformer from Enix. It is very simple, but I found it to be charming. It reminds me a bit of Tomba because of the climbing. This is totally vertical, since it is based on the Jack and the Beanstalk fable.
>Tall - Infinity.
This is a "dice rolling" game kinda similar to Devil Dice, but it is 2.5D. The core of the game is combining sides of dice of the same color to create more dice and build towers.
>Aquanauts Holiday and Tail of the Sun
Exploration-focused games from Kazutoshi Iida (the Doshin guy). Tail of the Sun has a clearer objective, but both are very sandbox-y.
>Ore no Ryouri
Cooking game with order management.
>B.L.U.E Legend Of Water
Underwater adventure exploration game with a dolphin bud. Kind of a more futuristic Tomb Rider vibe, but with a lot more dialogue. I love underwater exploration games.

My friend had a cd burner and sold ps1 copies around school. I asked him for Legends 1 and he got me a copy. Since it took him a week to download it he decided to give it a shot and burn himself a copy too. The next day he's all pissed off at me telling me the game sucks and that I should pay him for the blank disc he wasted on it. I'm like "dude this game is actually good".

I think the first part of the game in the cave gave a bad first impression. The graphics and draw-distance are kinda shitty but get much better when you land on the island after.

It's literally just Gunbird disguised as no-name shovelware. They recycled this exact same box art for Castle of Shikigami on PS2 and just called it Mobile Light Force 2.

Why the fuck would they do this? Heinous localizations aside they're fun games.

this game is correctly rated as decent but nobody really had anything to hate about it.
it had some pioneering stuff like 3D planar space fights without sluggish controls although limited by play mechanics

The first two medal of honour are gold. Not perfect but very interesting and fun.
