When Saturn, PSX and 64 came out any 2d game was panned for being old fashioned regardless if it had tight gameplay.

IGN recently gave SOR4 7/10 which is low for them. They claimed it was too clunky and based on an out dated system. People on /vr/ also told me SOR4 was trash which was a lie. SOR4 is a great.
