where you can play BGMs and sound effects.
Not much of a reward, but it's still remarkable how much content there is in this cartridge.
A full Metal Gear game, complete with a convoluted, conspiracy-laden plot, cardboard boxes, and a mech fight at the end.
And a bunch of VR training missions.

Yeah it was really under the radar. It was a victim of being released as "Metal Gear Solid" in the west, despite being on a different platform and being a completely different game. It has way too much charm for its own good. I wish there was an official rerelease on Switch, it would be the perfect game for it.

This is probably the most cardboard box heavy MG game, and for that reason alone, it's soulful.
