I actually just finished Kiwami yesterday, and from someone who only played 0 before I actually liked Kiwami a lot and I enjoyed how "tight" the main story was around Kiryu and Haruka, it felt like non stop objectives and twists and thus I kinda binged it.

I looked up the original on yt to see the differences and its funny to see how faithful some parts were for better or for worse, I heard they even reused animations from the original game? I don't know the specifics but its interesting

What kiwami did wrong was the whole majina everywhere shit. As a veteran idgaf about zeros 3 styles, I wanted DoD to be my main. Also that beginning cutscene with majima and kiryu being smacked bu him was really lame. Majoma is too memed in kiwami. Also the ps2 ost sounded better. Thankfully pc has a fan patch.
