Are there any games you've been playing religiously since you were a kid, but are still shit at them?

Pic related for me. Somehow I can speedrun Mario World in my sleep but when I play old Sonic games I hit the same fuckups every time.

My first system I got was an NES that my neighbors gave to my family when I was around 3 or 4. My first game was the SMB+Duck Hunt cartridge. To this day I can make it to the World 8 castle but I am yet to ever beat it.

I've never finished any of the Shinobi games I own on Mega Drive or ps2 .
While I haven't played them religiously, I do love the gameplay, music, and graphic design of them all, just never beaten any. They're some of my favourite games to pick up when I've got an hour or so to spare.

Mission Impossible on NES.

I was gifted it by a friend who had it but thought it sucked when I was like 10 or 11. Been playing it since then but, not only it's very cryptic at moments, but it gets really hard between traps and bosses later on.

Still love it though. Made by Konami, design is excellent and flawless, think of it as a hardcore Metal Gear.
