Why do i keep finding these after market consoles in older relative houses? I understand keeping or selling older games but why sell the console and keep the games? It seems to be a habit of every other uncle or older cousin that i have

They just come as a full set when downloaded. The NES one is not even a half a gigabyte, Genesis is just barely 1, SNES is 2+change, GB is negligible, and the GBA takes up the most, but they all fit onto a SD-card.
