170 or so teleporter Voodoo powered random wave spawn machine. Now featuring more Revenant!

pretty simple. an agitator derps around in the hallways, hits a trigger, spawns a monster then teleports to a different cell, repeat. it's now capable of spawning the entire roster and will sort of "accelarate or decelarate" with the use of Voodoo. idea being you could "plug" this thing into any map or section of a map, creating a semi customizable wave encounter. As you might have already concluded... the expiriment is mostly a failure. While it "technically" works. there is just no feasible way to transfer the end result tele destination without some serious fuckery.

yes technically this format should work. its just a Revenant derping around pixel perfect hallways and teleporting- repeat. however it heavily relies on the "spawn thing" tag. so to go vanilla you would need 50 to 10000 entities depending on what you want. the amount of voodoo dolls needed would be astronomical but yes it could work. im actually working on a solution to that. i think it could work. just need some time

Besides the classic 'git gud' all i could advise for help is this:
-Gunners are always bad news - just kill them quick (2 close hits with DBS/RL/GL is enough, Railgun always gibs on 2nd hit, or just 1 shot will suffice if monster is unalerted - abuse this whenever possible);
-Medics wont rez shit without coprses, but try leaving a ungibbed monster in a unreachable area but within their sight (windows/ledges/catwalks are perfect for this), so they will spazz out and just sit in place not even shooting;
-you can 'dodge-dance' with a lone Gladiator with either shotguns/blaster to save other ammo (also works with IronMaidens);
-Shotgun is obsolete once you get the SuperShotty, but unless you're very close, other guns will generally outperform them;
-Parasites attack can avoided almost completely if you get on top of it and keep jumping to stay above its range (doesnt work with plural Parasites get on a crate instead if possible);
-Tank/Commander's attack all can be avoided if given space (even their chaingun has an visible pattern that can be sometimes wholly avoided by simply ducking in the right place)
-Brains is a bullet-sponge at front, but the chest-tentacles attack causes it to disable the PowerScreen so no need to get behind them (they almost always use this attack if you approach them while crouching);
-On hard flying enemies will swiftly avoid most projectiles (even the HB bolts unless you lead your shots while the monster does a 'sideways strafing run' animation sequence) better shoot rockets/grenades at closest wall/floor instead or just use the SG/DBS in those instances
-SuperTankBoss will never stop its minigun unless you break is line-of-sight, better keep that part obstructed whenever possible (so they will fire the rockets instead - the hull guns are for decoration only);

The backpack can be OP for continuous play if given out too often, especially in wads that aren't super hard. It makes it way harder to run out of ammo, especially after multiple consecutive levels that are generous with ammo. It's a major factor on why I think the iwads become an absolute breeze continuously, as nearly every level has at least one, and appear very early on, too.
I like what BTSX does, where the backpack doesn't start appearing at all until around the midway point of each wad (E1M10 and E2M14).
