They gameplay system might be nearly identical, but how enemy design was handled changes drastically between the games. IMO it was best in 1 which makes it overall feel like it has the best gameplay.

Contrarian bait. The apartments were the weakest level aside from the the underground maze section. The level dragged on way longer than it should have. It should have been kept only to the first apartment block. The part where James goes through the window to the next complex should have just been the exit. And then they should have made a better arena for Pyramid head instead of that retarded tiny L-shaped room.

I was streaming and playing silent hill 2 the other day, I had like 20 people watching me ,an hour in everyone kept commenting “please change the game, this is boring”, and they were right, holy fuck does silent hill 2 suck. I popped in kingdom hearts and everyone seemed satisfied after.

It isn't a streaming friendly game. It's the type of game you want to play by yourself with no one rushing you. Streaming and having to put on a show for people inherently ruins the atmosphere.
