You don't need to make blind jumps, you can pan the camera around before making a jump.
Don't use the super jump for long jumps; jump regularly.
I've footage of people complaining about the game, and they are playing it wrong.

Good choice. Batman Returns on SNES was a good game too of a completely different type.

Outside of Star Wars, Batman might be the next best treated license. It's had a fair number of good retro games and highly praised modern ones.
