Hey guys,

My father recently passed away due to COVID and left me approximately 200k. I've heard retro gaming is really taking off lately, does anyone have any tips on investing in retro games to make a sizeable return? Ideally I'd like to double my money in 5 years

Buy as many Suckgay Shiturds and games as you can and destroy them for the greater good.

You have no real interest in video games. You are just another scum bag trying to make a quick buck off of something you think is "booming".

Is making money now considered being a scumbag? Are you poor or something?

>> No.7134426

Retro games don't go up in value consistently as the supply is fairly fixed but the demand is all over the place.
If you're looking to make money with them then bargain hunting is your best bet. Buy for a buck, sell for ten.
You're probably too stupid even for that desu senpai. I mean, you're looking for investing tips on a south-vietnamese woodworking forum.

Yes.

>Are you poor or something?
By asking this question you're admitting that rich people can't exist without poor people also existing, and that capitalism is inherently predatory.

How do you figure this kind of discussion belongs on /vr/ anyway when it would be much better suited for /v/ or /biz/. Also trying to make money from fucking video games is beyond retarded and a good way to lose all of daddys money.

Donate your money to charity and then kill yourself, leech. Nobody is going to help you exploit a hobby people actually enjoy for the sake of making a few extra bucks off them.

Typical retard who thinks they're hot shit for getting daddy's money.

The only ones profiting off of retro games are the ones who bought a fuckton of them in the 2000s. At the time they were just old and obsolete and people were giving them away until the the nostalgia/hipster wave came in.

I'm 99% sure this is a shitpost, but on the 1% chance that you really are this dumb; DO NOT.

>> No.7134464

Most retro games, even the "expensive" ones, are worth less than they were new adjusted for inflation. Thats after 20-30 years. Youre probably not going to gain much so its best to invest in something else or what youre actually interested in.
