The controller isn't that great, but perfectly serviceable for most of the first and second party games (which if you're not playing the N64 almost exclusively for these alone then what the fuck are you smoking and where can I get some) but it's really the console's design that's always pissed me off. If you actually look at the internals it's far larger than it has any right to be (reminds me of the Turbografyx 16 and it's turbotarded giant plastic shell). Is there any credence to the idea that it's botched design was a strange attempt to appeal to both a Japanese and Western audience simultaneously? We know Nintendo's two previous consoles had different designs and names in Japan and North America, but this is the one where it began being more uniform between them. Also: I actually really like the N64's cart design, despite it's lack of end-labels, which is easily remedied anyway.

I own a mini snes. Occasionally I’ll fire up an emulator and play some mame. When the new halo comes out I’ll upgrade my pc for it. This is the extent of my gaming, I do not want to be associated with these types of fuckers. I actually recently cut off a very old friend and one of the unsaid reasons of why I cut him off was because were pushing 30 and he still plays with action figures and posts pictures of them online.
