The OCS Amiga had four sound channels, which was enough for both on paper. Problem was, all the devs were guys who'd made games on 8-bit machines with 3 or less sound channels so they simply kept putting in the "Choose music or sfx" option due to force of habit.

Sometimes they did a good job, for example the Amiga had a very nice port of Bad Dudes. More often than not, they were total crud banged out in a few weeks and often copypasted from the Atari ST (these games were easy to ID as they typically only had 16 colors and didn't even use the blitter).

Wolfpack. Forgot to add that one. The DOS version looks slightly better as it has full VGA graphics support but it doesn't play nearly as smoothly since it's still designed for 1990 PC hardware (within 2-3 years as DOS games began to gain 32-bit and VESA support, the Amiga was done).

Most of their games were just ports of PC games and were generally pretty static with lots of well drawn still screens and minimal animation. As with the C64 they never learned to push the hardware and their games always either had abysmal or even no music or sound at all.

I don't understand why you think this is some kind of hilarious sick own - you keep posting a load of terrible games that no one cared about even back in the day. No one thinks they are good. It's like posting the worst 10 SNES games and using that as proof the SNES was bad. Also none of them are what I would call "demoscene" related in any way - for that you would want games like Pinball Fantasies or Super Stardust created by actual demoscene groups, but they are fantastic games so that destroys your forced meme.

Far more damaging was the list of NTSC releases being touted as "good" that was just boring PC ports of flight sims and Monkey Island. Be still my beating heart.

They check what was in the works in the company and tell Microprose UK to cancel UFO. It was officially cancelled, and it was only due to the British Microprose UK management fighting back the game was uncancelled and finished.

Amiga has some cool games. Turrican series, Leander, Worms, Cannon Fodder, Gods, Chaos Engine to name a few. Plus a surprisingly good remake of BC Kid. There may be a lot of eurothrash on it, but there is still some genuinly nice stuff.
I found it harder to find likable ogames on Atari ST. Most are downgraded Amiga games, and the few exclusives aren't memorable.
