Dusk is a lot of fun but the problem is exactly that it copies Quake and Doom too much. Look at the weapons, they're a literal copy paste from those games and they still managed to make them worse than what it copies like the grenade launcher. It doesn't have enough originality to stand on its own and the only reason people like it is exactly because it reminds them of Quake and Doom.

it's more of its own thing other than anything else, the models look horrible at times but it's got quite a bit of atmosphere to its levels and plenty of fast paced action and fun items too
probably not a good place to talk about this game but i enjoyed it, solid 8 out of 10

It's a riff on the fast-paced Serious Sam/Painkiller game model with Quake/Blood's aesthetic, which is a nice mix. A weird mix, though: it's like making a 90s point-and-click tribute by combining artistic cues from King's Quest and Dark Seed just because they both played a little like each other, so your new adventure is about a plucky knight walking through Gigeresque medieval castles trying to find a magic rod to kill a dark wizard, to avenge the town whore who slept with everyone but you.

The only FPS I've enjoyed that has been released since Halo 2 desu.
I've played the demo for Ultrakill and I like it but I'm waiting for the full release.
