If anything he's minimizing the whole thing, it's worthy of critique.
Parish basically made an excuse to get away from the fact that Larry called him out on having false information. Plain and simple.
Research is research, you can do research before doing both videos and the book. Everyone can commit errors, but then you can at the very least edit your videos, or make them again. Not something parish is willing to do evidently.

I've also learned genuine stuff about Speccy games from him, which, if you care about ME SPECCY, should matter.
Nostalgia Nerd is great as well; he makes long form videos about good obscure subjects. I didn't know shit about the BBS Mega Drive ROM trading scene until he made a video about it, and he's made at least one video about 90s VR games, which is actually kind of interesting.
Slopes, Larry's sort of partner, makes a bunch of great docs too; he recently made a documentary about Dizzy and the Oliver Twins, and yes, he has covered Jet Set Willy.
