>SNES port machine

What were they thinking?

Many of the games had limited or no utility with two of the face buttons.

It was worse with the DS missing analogue stick.

it was terrible. I wonder what drugs they were snorting in that particular developer's offices to even think how this game would turn out well. whole thing seemed like it was a rush job.

Imagine, gba with x+y buttons, resolution of a ds screen, and easier to develope sound

>Porting Snes games most people already own to this thing is a massive pain in the ass and not cost effective for the amount of money we'll make for most titles

They didn't even port any of the good snes games like super metroid and chrono trigger and most games had raped music and horrible graphics compared to the originals.
GBA was more of "port all the dogshit we can find to the handheld and see if it sells" machine IMO.
Pay 30 dollars for a single nes rom on a GBA cart, stupid gajins!

pretty based, I'd say.

>> No.7054252

They didn't care how well it played, they only cared about showing off properly 3D platforming on a handheld. I remember as a kid that it was draw-dropping compared to my GBA.

As someone who's 100%d the ds version multiple times, I barely the controls after playing for a few minutes.
Id actually go as far as to say the game plays better with a run button, makes a lot of the movement feel more intentional, whereas I used to dive grab a lot on accident on the 64
