For Germs? Not that I know of but I also didn't really look for one. There were two full playthroughs up on YouTube - one by a Japanese player and the other a no comment version. The latter was taken down recently it seems. They're not of much help anyway. Sure it can show players where to go but you still have no idea what's going on with the story. As you have already experienced the language barrier is pretty high. It's an early open world where you have to deduct from the contents of emails, phone calls and conversations where to go next and it never marks your destination for you. There's a car available to you as well as public transportation methods. On top of that, you can read the minds of every character in the game after you kill them and find out who or what they were. So there is a lot to read there.

Not a weird game by any means, as it is a somewhat janky Doom clone with a Die Hard setting, but there were only a few gameplay videos and no roms available at the time, so I had to import it. Apparently it was bootlegged as Counter Strike in some foreign markets.

I think I played this on a demo disc when I was like 11 and had no clue what I was reading. There was a a cheat button combo that let me fly into the sky.
Does anyone know what demo discs included this game? On the same disc (I assume) there was a weird russian sim-city rip-off. I remember people walking around but not too many, and one of them was a cockroach in a suit.
I think it was a timed demo, at random the game would just very suddenly shift to an image of a graveyard with a bell noise which scared the living shit out of me.
