Apparently it was used for horse race-betting software called JRA-PAT.

I had one of these growing up, the L and R buttons were the dumbest shit ever, somehow they made and arcade stick which made playing SF2 even more difficult than the standard SNES pad.

Probably just my densha de go one. I don't own a lot of weird controllers, one shitty mad catz one put me off the whole idea.

Nintendo because they copied it for the N3DS. They're fine, don't underestimate how small the small&pretty is.

An N64 controller with a stick that actually works. That's pretty weird, right? It's atomic purple, too.

I don't know if any of them are valuable but I have tons of third party controllers ps1 controllers, like maybe a dozen. It's amazing how huge the PS1's market was to encourage so many third-party manufactururers.

Most aren't but I'm sure some are hard to find and unique. There's even pingoo Playstation controllers. I also have the namco fight stick, that thing is built great.

Obviously anyone who's built their own controllers has the rarest/most unique ones as they're potentially one of a kind.

I never built a controller so it's zero-of-a-kind. Even more rare.

super advantage isn't so bad
autofire on the shooters is great

anything that requires actual repeated button presses with timing or combos is fucked though bc the buttons stick

still recommend though

I've got the official Guilty Gear X controller that came with the korean PC version.
It's a knock-off six button Mega Drive controller that connects to the gameport and requires special drivers that are entirely in korean. And it really is a Mega Drive controller, even has a mode button.

It was advertised as a pad for FPS. The right hand side moves around the ball joint and could emulate the mouse, so that you would move with the dpad and control the aim with the right handle.
The main problem was actually the dpad, that instead working by pressing underlying buttons, it was mounted on a fucking stick inside that regularly broke.

I own a modified Lodgenet N64 controller that was frankenstein'd to work on regular N64s. The stick is smooth as butter, has no deadzone, has the full N64 stick range, and is taller. I don't have to worry about it getting all crappy and worn in.

I also own Tomoyasu Hotei: Stolen Song, which comes with a giant guitar pick with a PS1 plug connected to it. It's a very simple rhythm game with a lot of FMV. Saw it in a store for $20, was definitely worth it.

As far as the keyboard portion goes - It was made exclusively for Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II.

You can use it as a regular controller otherwise, and I'm sure there's a ton of youtube videos of people doing just that.
