Let's talk about unfairly underrated games.

Yoshi's Story is always being compared to his older brother Yoshi's Island.
God damn yes, YI is one of the best platformers ever fucking made, but Yoshi's Story is a very nice little guy too who does things different than his brother.
Most common complain is "too short!". Well, of course it'll be too short if you onlyplay through the story mode once, that's only 6 levels, only 1/4 of the game, you gotta unlock all 24 levels, and then aim for the best possible score on the trial mode, it's a completely different scheme than Yoshi's Island, even though both are platformers with Yoshi.

I'll say YI is objectively a richer game, probably, but YS is still a pretty interesting game that has the stigma of being the sequel to YI, if it was an original game with new characters, maybe it wouldn't have been a best seller, but probably not as hated as it is now.

I was wondering.. what other games suffer from being unfairly bashed?

I love love LOVE Yoshi's Story.

But Yoshi's Island just did thing better by arranging all the levels in a linear fashion, rather than having them force you to play through them however you liked.

And there's just something about the whole fruit collecting thing that made me want to go OCD and only collect melons...
