Anyone else have a PC or console dedicated to emulation?
Pic related, just finished building it today. All I need is an adapter for speakers, and I'm set. She's JUST powerful enough to run upto Gamecube.

I forgot to take a picture of the controller, one of those fan-cooled ones from years back.

Hello OP

The answer to your question depends entirely on your system specs but Ubuntu is a good place to start with Linux. Most emulators have a Linux version. For example you can use zsnes, mupen64plus and pcsx all on Linux.

Snes9x isn't perfect (off the top of my head, the Kirby Super Star intro plays too slowly, though apparently Snes9x-Next on RetroArch fixes this), but it's a damn good emulator, and it's fast even on toasters. It should be the first thing anyone should try getting into SNES emulation. Though if you can run bsnes Performance or Balanced at full speed, then by all means use that instead.
