I have the PC game too, the only version I've played but haven't enjoyed was the PSP version, pretty poor framerate on top of bad controls.

I've enjoyed every version I've played of OutRun 2 (I have OG Xbox and C2C on PC & PSP). Don't know why there needs to be a rivalry between the two.

I've been trying to make an Outrun 2 Xbox vs C2C infographic comparison but I never got around to finishing it. C2C is your typical botched Sega PC port. Outrun 2 definitely has better handling where it's nice and smooth, C2C likes to fish tail around for no fucking reason when you recover from a drift. I don't care much for the Daytona 2 and SCUD Race tracks because they look nothing like the real thing. Only people who get suckered into them are people who never actually played them so they don't have any expectations or reference to them.

It was in 2, they're full of shit. 2 and coast 2 coast 2006 (both for the og xbox) are both excellent games and anyone waving their dick around saying one is better than the other is a clown. Both have perks, both have downsides but slipstream is absolutely in both, and it's an excellent mechanic.

Attention to all newfriends who really, really want Daytona 2 and SCUD race tracks. The one included in Outrun 2 for Xbox is like a cover and greatest hits together. It's a cover in the sense that they don't really look much like the real thing and they definitely not that pretty. It's a greatest hits version in the sense that it's several segments from each course mashed and joined together, it's not the full experience, far from it. If you really want to play Daytona 2 and SCUD Race tracks, please just save yourself the disappointment and just emulate them with Supermodel 3. By the way C2C fags your game doesn't look quite this nice.

Outrun 2 Xbox is based off of Sega Chihiro, and Coast 2 Coast is based off of Sega Lindbergh, so yes you can definitively draw a line between them, and considering not a lot of people have ever gotten their hands on an Xbox, many have played the inferior Coast 2 Coast and that becomes their only reference of the game. Yes, comparing these two different ports is reasonable discussion you giant fag.
