He's not lovecraftian horror. He's more equivalent to actual pagan gods of people like the ancient germans and celts(which is what he's based on.) His worshippers live in Ecofash villages and the worst thing that happens is that they can choose to get turned into apes, not that bad.

The Germanic tribes worshipped Wotan or Woden, besides they had a variety of gods.The trickster is basically a combination of all of them

Those are both older names for Odin.

No they aren't. Stop getting your education from wikipedia and le vikangs.
The norse god Odin is a later form of Wotan. He is slightly different from earlier forms of the god. View Woden, Wotan and Wodan as the original god and then Odin as an offshoot that stayed around for longer because the norse werent christianised.
