I spent a lot of time playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 on the GBA. The isometric view did take a little time to get used to, as did the controls. But I became addicted to this one, and THPS3.

The one thing that annoys me with so many of these SNES ports are the higher contract colour pallets on the GBA games. This is because the original GBA had no backlight, and there were many complains from customers on how hard it was to see games. So Nintendo told devs to use high contrast colours. Which can look pretty gawdy. One post in this video I really liked was Rock and Roll Racing.

More like the opposite of spoiled. I am a poorfag and I did the same. I only had like 3 gamecube games because I'd rather get a bargain bin PS1 game every few months than 1/2 GC games a year.
Almost everything I had was 2nd hand and I only got an Xbox/GC one year because my two single parents surprised me with an Xbox on Christmas so my dad swapped it in for a GC. I only started getting Xbox games when the 360 came out.

The SNES has its own separate audio and graphics chips. The GBA does everything within a single CPU. Just like the original GameBoy and GameBoy Color. Nintendo designed the GBA as a single chip "APU" to reduce battery drain. The original GBA has a 32-bit ARM7TDMI and the GameBoy Color version of the Sharp 8bit CPU. The GBA does have to do video processing and audio processing through the same CPU, and probably has less resources to do audio samples with than the SNES. The GBA audio engine does work like the N64 audio engine, but the GBA hardware is much weaker. Both are based on the SNES audio chip, which is sample based MIDI/MOD.

Any of the Bomberman games on it (Tournament was my favorite and it was basically Bomberman/Zelda hybrid with a dash of Pokemon. You can with the black GBC cartridges. The clear GBC cartridges are GBC exclusive. While the black GBC cartridges contain two different ROM's. One for GBC and the other for GB. The GBC does have a faster CPU and slightly more work RAM.

There is also Shantae on the GBC, which adds a few extra enhancements when you plug it into a GBA.

Yes. There are about 150-200 GameBoy Colour games that are backwards compatible with the original GameBoy. These are the black catridge games. Sort the game list on Wikipedia by 'Backward compatible':
